Drought and pestilence

Well, maybe we aren’t in a drought yet, but the new pepper and tomato plants that we put in last weekend were looking severely stressed by lack of water today.  I hope they survive.  The peppers looked pretty bad.

And then we found out that there are red aphids in the Garden and, sure enough, I found some on my tomato plants.  I killed all of the ones I could find, but I’m sure there are plenty more out there.  I think that it’s time to start going out to the Garden every day.

Search and destroy the aphids! Kill! Kill! Kill!

I did see one ladybug on one of my tomato cages.  They are vicious aphid predators, so there is hope.
