Knitting for the garden

I like to knit and always have some projects in progress. I couldn’t think of any way to combine gardening and knitting until the other day when inspiration hit! I noticed that most other gardeners were tying their tomatoes up with something other than skinny bits of string.  I realized that I could knit a cord to tie my tomatoes to their stakes. I just happened to have a remnant ball of organic cotton yarn.  I made a 3 stitch i-cord, about 10 feet in length. I cut the desired lengths, knot the ends, and I have fancy tomato ties!Cushy
