I feared the worst

After a weekend of torrential rains, we drove by the Garden on Sunday but didn’t stop as it was still raining. From the street, the Garden looked like an island. There was standing water on every side.  I was really worried about everyones’ plants.  I shouldn’t have.  We went today and the Garden looks fantastic. Leafy greens are looking especially lush. A few plots at the northeastern end were a bit muddy and had puddles. A few of our onions seemed to have bobbed to the surface of the soil, but everything else was intact.  Outside the garden, there is still standing water where the blueberries will be planted and some large puddles here and there.
